Every child has the right to education
Article 28 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child states that every child has the right to a formal education - yet more than 32 million children across the world have never seen a teacher as a result of armed conflict.
Our education programmes are designed with the long-term goal of building children’s academic, social and emotional knowledge and skills to be able to participate fully in their societies and realise their full potential.
Can’t Wait to Learn uses technology to support children to learn in places where formal education is not available.
The power of partnerships
In all the countries of operation we work together with the national ministry of education to ensure quality is upheld. We work in both formal and non-formal education settings and our programmes encompass activities such as catch-up education, basic numeracy and literacy, e-learning initiatives for out-of-school children and enhanced support for education professionals.
