What We Do
The impact of war and flight goes far beyond physical wounds. Our programme works to rebuild hope and confidence for the hundreds of refugee children who arrive at our borders.
In fact, TeamUp was born in the Netherlands. Together with Save the Children and UNICEF Netherlands, we use play as a means to help young people process their experiences.
When we’re not busy building on this flagship psychosocial support intervention, we’re spending our days finding new and innovative ways to raise funds for children in war. Our famous friends, including Vivianne Miedema and Chef’Special help us do this justice.

During weekly sessions at 38 asylum seekers’ centres and schools across the country, children take part in structured play and movement-based activities led by trained facilitators. Each activity has a specific goal related to a theme such as dealing with anger or interacting with peers.
