Stability and structure
The TeamUp movement and play activities offer an opportunity to release stress and tension in the body. This contributes to the well-being of children and teenagers and to the social connection between them. The TeamUp activities are linked to socio-emotional themes. Children and teenagers learn how to cope with anger, stress and conflict. They become aware of how their body feels. They learn to work together others, to express their feelings and compliment one another. These skills are useful in their daily life. TeamUp activities usually take place in groups facilitated by trained facilitators at a fixed time and fixed location. This helps to provide children and teenagers with a valuable sense of stability and structure.
